Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 June 2026
This covers the GloGraph website (glograph.com) and the email list. It's written to be readable, not lawyerly. GloGraph is an independent project based in Canada.
The short version
- The app is local-first: your graphs live in
.glographfiles on your own device. We never see or store them. - The website uses cookieless analytics, so there are no tracking cookies and no consent banner.
- If you join the email list, we store your email to send GloGraph updates. Unsubscribe any time.
- We don't sell your data or run third-party ad trackers.
The app (GloGraph desktop)
Everything you create stays on your machine in local .glograph files (SQLite). The
app works fully offline and does not send your graphs anywhere. Its optional built-in HTTP API
binds only to your own computer (127.0.0.1) and is off by default.
Website analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and which buttons get clicked, so we can tell whether people find GloGraph useful. Plausible is cookieless, does not collect personal data, and does not build cross-site profiles. We only ever see aggregate numbers.
Email list
If you submit your email, it is stored with Buttondown (our email provider) so we can send you GloGraph news and launch updates. We won't use it for anything else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete you at any time (see Contact).
What we don't do
No selling or renting your data. No third-party advertising trackers. No cookie walls.
Your choices & rights
You can unsubscribe from any email, or contact us to access or delete your data. We honor the rights you have under your local laws, including PIPEDA (Canada), the GDPR (EU/UK), and the CCPA (California).
